Incentives and luxury events are on the agenda for the next extended micebook talks virtual event on 2 December, which aims to bring #eventprofs together to share best practice and discuss the road to recovery for these sectors.

There has been much debate this year over whether virtual incentives can motivate and reward as successfully as a group trip, and agency Strata Creative Communications has proved they can.

The agency will kick-off the afternoon’s content by sharing how it transformed what should have been a luxury group incentive trip for one of its clients, into a jam-packed weekend of virtual experiences that received amazing feedback from participants.

The shift in attitudes towards luxury travel will be under the spotlight in a session led by Black Tomato Studio on The Language of Luxury, which will share insights from its research into what travellers want from luxury travel post-pandemic and how marketing is going to change.

And finally SITE Global will be sharing the results of its new research into incentive travel, with members of the SITE GB Board including Elliott Grant, Chris Parnham, Kate Benzine and Caroline Lumgair on hand to offer further insights on the research and the future of incentive travel.

“Like many sectors, the incentive and luxury events sectors have been hit hard by the pandemic. But it’s so important for brands to engage and motivate their staff right now, some of whom have been working harder than ever. This event will explore how we can help our clients retain their best talent through incentives and rewards, and how we can bring back hope on the supply side and get incentive trips booked and confirmed,” said micebook founder and CEO Chetan Shah.

During the day we provide an opportunity for exhibitors to have a one-to-one meeting with buyers and bring them up to speed on how their destinations and properties are opening up and what measures are being taken to ensure the safety of guests. Exhibitors include:

Buyers will be able to get a destination update on South Africa, courtesy of Concepts Collection and Green Route Africa, who have teamed up for the event. The destination spotlight will include:
