Sandals and Beaches Resorts has become the latest hotel brand to launch a new e-Gift Card for luxury incentive experiences.

The news follows UK agency Eventful’s recent announcement that it has partnered with some of the UK’s leading hotels to unveil Eventful Experiences, which offers an exclusive collection of luxury travel experiences that are available for corporates to purchase as gift certificates.

Aware that larger-scale overseas incentive trips may not be feasible for lots of companies right now, Sandals and Beaches Resorts said the new e-Gift Card has been designed as an alternative way to offer corporate businesses flexibility to reward their staff and customers, motivate teams and drive sales with a once-in-a-lifetime reward.

Available in multiple denominations from £1,000 to £5,000, the new e-Gift Cards can be redeemed against holidays to any of the 18 different Sandals and Beaches resorts in Barbados, Antigua, Grenada, St Lucia, Jamaica, The Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos islands though Sandals and Beaches Resorts’ UK tour operator, Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd. (UCHL).

This gives corporate businesses the flexibility to choose which resort to book, whether to part-pay for a customer or employee trip, or to pay for a trip in full if they wish to, building an incentive programme for individuals to enjoy.

The company also recently introduced extensive Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness to guarantee cleanliness standards and health and safety amidst Covid-19 to give further peace of mind to corporate clients.

Paul Tidy, Groups & MICE Manager at Unique Vacations UK, affiliates of the worldwide marketing representatives for Sandals and Beaches Resorts, says: “Our award-winning Sandals and Beaches Resorts provide companies worldwide with exceptional facilities and unique luxury incentive experiences. We know how vital it is to ensure loyalty is at the core of a business, motivate teams to go the extra mile and drive sales, particularly as we navigate through these uncertain times.

“We appreciate that larger incentive trips may not be possible for many companies just now, so we wanted to create a useful tool which can be easily used in the interim period to incentivise and reward both staff and customers, with a truly memorable experience.”

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts recently revealed Rosewood Rewards, a similar gift card scheme that enables businesses to reward top-performing employees with an individual travel award that can be used at Rosewood hotels and resorts around the world whilst also earning commission or rebates.

Iconic Luxury Hotels also announced ’Iconic Experiences’ as an alternative to group travel in the current climate. Each Iconic Experience will include a one or two-night stay at one of four (soon to be five) of the UK’s premier luxury hotels, combined with a unique and dynamic ‘experience’ exclusive to each property.
