CELEBRATING A NEW COMMUNITY
In our quest to master the definitive networking experiences in the industry, micebook recently hosted its next chapter with the ‘Next Edition’ event in London.
Hosted at the super cool London EDITION, this was our second instalment in a series of creative industry experiences bringing together the micebook community with leading event planners, buyers and MICE suppliers.
To stimulate networking, connections and conversation, we partnered with Crowdcomms to utilise an event app. Encouraging great networking, attending buyers were awarded points for valuable conversations with great supplier brands in the room. These points were fed through to a leader board, with savvy planners actively networking and accruing points towards terrific travel prizes.
The star prize for the busiest networker was 2 British Airways flights and 3 nights at The Fairmont Royal York, Toronto. Following a competive buzz in the room, the top prize was finally claimed by Helena Vella of The Black Tomato Agency. The experience provided a light-hearted and engaging tool to promote good conversation and circulation within the attending crowd …. with many suppliers welcoming the innovative format to maximise the attendee engagement.
Additional sparkle was provided by Sternberg Clark’s Mirror Man, a human glitter ball who greeted guests on arrival with the Ministry of Sound providing the music throughout the evening.
